The Elbows - DUMBO, NY 1975
Before James Chance, Suicide, Lydia Lunch. They also had a
rhythm section called The Knees, but they rarely performed together. They
disbanded in 1976 when the singer was run over by an ice cream truck on
Atlantic Avenue.
Some say it was an accident, but we knew better. "My
Love is Like a Tubular Bell" was their best song. Everyone was humming it
in the summer of '75.
